Montana High School Basketball - Big Sandy crushes Turner

January 14, 2022: Big Sandy, MT 59520

Big Sandy Pioneers (Big Sandy, MT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Turner Tornadoes (Turner, MT), 74-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Big Sandy upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Chester-Joplin-Inverness (Chester, MT) to play the Hawks in a C District 9 bout on Saturday, January 15. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Chester-Joplin-Inverness lost 58-52 in their recent league bout against Fort Benton (Fort Benton, MT)

Next up, the Tornadoes play the North Star Knights (Rudyard, MT) in a C District 9 bout, on Saturday, January 15. Turner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 55-35 league loss to Big Sandy (Big Sandy, MT).
