Glenn Eagles (Norwalk, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Oxford Academy Patriots (Cypress, CA), 44-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenn upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Eagles host Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-5. Bosco Tech lost 52-45 in their recent league bout against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Cerritos Dons (Cerritos, CA) in a 605 bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Oxford Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record.
