The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) basketball crushed the host Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), 75-41 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Devils (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Gordon Central (Calhoun, GA). The Warriors go into the AA Region 7 test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Gordon Central was trounced by Dade County (Trenton, GA), 72-36, in a league test.

The Dragons now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland for a non-league test on Saturday, January 15. Pepperell will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 86-35 league loss to Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-9.
