The Wendell Trojans basketball team (Wendell, ID), was overwhelmed 55-34 in Friday's non-league battle with the host North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID)
The Huskies now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Firth for a 2A Nuclear battle on Wednesday, January 19. North Fremont will battle a Cougars team coming off a 55-49 league loss to Ririe (Ririe, ID). The Cougars record now stands at 8-5.
The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Filer (Filer, ID). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Filer was overwhelmed by Butte County (Arco, ID), 56-55, in a non-league battle.
