The Colts Neck Cougars basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Red Bank Regional Bucs to 27 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Allentown for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 15. Colts Neck will battle a Redbirds team coming off a 50-48 league loss to Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ). The Redbirds record now stands at 3-3.

The Bucs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Rose (Belmar, NJ). The Purple Roses come into the Shore A - Central contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, St. Rose prevailed over Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ), 54-42, in a non-league contest.
