Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Atlanta Warriors (Atlanta, GA), 35-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakeside upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Chamblee (Chamblee, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 15. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 6-8. Chamblee lost 50-35 in their recent league bout against Decatur (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, January 18. North Atlanta will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 68-44 non-league win over Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL).
