St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lithonia Bulldogs (Lithonia, GA), 60-42 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Pius X Catholic upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Golden Lions host Decatur (Decatur, GA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Decatur lost 53-46 in their recent league bout against Southwest DeKalb (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Chamblee Bulldogs (Chamblee, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 18. Lithonia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
