Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA), 40-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Bears travel to Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-10.

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Berkmar Patriots (Lilburn, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 15. Mill Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 66-14 league loss to Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA).
