Warner Robins Demons (Warner Robins, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA), 31-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Warner Robins upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Demons host Veterans (Kathleen, GA) to clash with the Warhawks in a AAAAA Region 1 bout on Saturday, January 15. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Veterans lost 50-36 in their recent league bout against Ware County (Waycross, GA)
Next up, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 15. Wayne County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 79-53 league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA).
