North Carolina High School Basketball - Western Guilford nips Ragsdale

Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC), 39-35 in a league bout.
With the victory, Western Guilford upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 17. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 11-0. Reagan won 60-59 in their recent league bout against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Tigers play the Parkland Mustangs (Winston-Salem, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 17. Ragsdale will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.
