The Battle Lake Battlers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Parkers Prairie Panthers to 49 in the Battlers league triumph on Saturday.

The Battlers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Park Christian for a A Section 6 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Battle Lake will battle a Falcons team coming off a 62-58 non-league win over Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 5-7.

The Panthers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rothsay (Rothsay, MN). The Tigers enter the A Section 6 contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Rothsay was routed by Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN), 67-57, in a league contest.
