In Saturday's league outing, the Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR), by a margin of 64-35.

The Bearcats (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Chickasaws go into the 4A Region 3 outing with a 20-0 record. In their last outing, Blytheville smashed Forrest City (Forrest City, AR), 66-53, in a league outing.

The Yellowjackets now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Westside for a 4A Region 3 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Wynne will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 60-56 league loss to Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 6-7.
