With the win, Napaaqtugmiut upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lynx host Aqqaluk (Noorvik, AK) to play the Bears in a 1A Northwest Arctic bout on Thursday, January 19. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Aqqaluk won 67-24 in their recent league bout against Kiana (Kiana, AK)

Next up, the Belugas play the Kotzebue Huskies (Kotzebue, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Buckland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
