Camden Blue Devils (Camden, NY) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY), 57-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Camden upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Central Valley Academy (Ilion, NY) to play the Thunder in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Pioneer bout on Friday, January 20. The Thunder come into the bout with a record of 12-0. Central Valley Academy won 72-65 in their recent league bout against New Hartford (New Hartford, NY)

Next up, the Golden Knights play the Proctor Raiders (Utica, NY) in a Section 3 Tri-Valley - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Holland Patent will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 58-52 non-league win over Syracuse Academy of Science (Syracuse, NY).
