Crosshill Christian Eagles (Turner, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mohawk Mustangs (Marcola, OR), 48-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Crosshill Christian upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Oregon School for the Deaf (Salem, OR) to clash with the Panthers in a 1A Casco bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Oregon School for the Deaf lost 68-16 in their recent league bout against Perrydale (Amity, OR)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the North Douglas (Drain, OR) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Mohawk will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 66-50 non-league win over South Wasco County (Maupin, OR).
