In Saturday's non-league match, the host Whitwell Tigers basketball team scored a good 50-41 triumph over the Dalton Academy Pumas.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Sale Creek Panthers (Sale Creek, TN) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 17. Whitwell will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record.
