In Saturday's league match, the host Drew Central Pirates basketball team scored a good 68-53 triumph over the Lakeside Rams.
In their next game, the Pirates meet the DeWitt Dragons (DeWitt, AR) in a 3A Region 8 match, on Wednesday, January 18. Drew Central will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Dragons enter the match with a 5-4 record after their 53-39 league win over Dollarway (Pine Bluff, AR).
