Georgia High School Basketball - Emanuel County Institute knocked off by Metter

The Metter Tigers basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs to 32 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Claxton for a A D1 Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Metter will battle a Tigers team coming off a 74-24 non-league loss to Toombs County (Lyons, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-13.
The Bulldogs (1-15) will now prepare for their contest against Savannah Classical Academy (Savannah, GA). The Spartans enter the A D2 Region 3 contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Savannah Classical Academy was defeated by McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA), 72-31, in a league contest.
