Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, NE), 57-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Freeman upgrades its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to play the Clippers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Clippers come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Malcolm won 67-35 in their recent non-league bout against Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE)

Next up, the Panthers play the Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Palmyra will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 45-37 non-league loss to Elmwood-Murdock (Murdock, NE).
