The Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV), 53-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Tide (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Man (Man, WV). The Hillbillies go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Man went down by Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV), 73-44, in a league test.
The Titans now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Braxton County for a Little Kanawha - East test on Monday, January 16. Gilmer County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 68-48 league win over Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.
