In Saturday's league outing, the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins (Glendale, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Mountainside Wolves (Wittmann, AZ), by a margin of 61-25.

The Griffins (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Highland Prep (Surprise, AZ). The Honey Badgers go into the 2A Central outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Highland Prep smashed BASIS Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ), 65-11, in a league outing.

The Wolves now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Phoenix Christian for a 2A Central outing on Thursday, January 19. Mountainside will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 71-61 non-league loss to Fountain Hills (Fountain Hills, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 15-4.
