In Saturday's league match, the visiting Smackover Buckaroos basketball team scored a decisive 79-50 triumph over the Harmony Grove Hornets.
In their next game, the Buckaroos face the Lakeside Rams (Hot Springs, AR) in a 5A South match, on Wednesday, January 18. Smackover will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Rams enter the match with a 8-12 record after their 68-53 league loss to Drew Central (Monticello, AR).
With the defeat, Harmony Grove moves to 2-8 on the year. The Hornets travel to McGehee (McGehee, AR) to face the Owls in a 3A Region 8 match on Wednesday, January 18. The Owls enter the match with a record of 3-6. McGehee lost 72-44 in their recent league match against Dumas (Dumas, AR)
