The Hopi Bruins basketball team (Keams Canyon, AZ), was toppled 67-54 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ)
The Elks now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley for a 2A North battle on Tuesday, January 17. Round Valley will confront a Pirates team coming off a 77-71 league loss to Pinon (Pinon, AZ). The Pirates record now stands at 5-10.
The Bruins (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ). The Lobos come into the 2A North battle with a 2-13 record. In their last battle, Many Farms was toppled by Valley (Sanders, AZ), 70-39, in a league battle.
