Michigan Lutheran Titans (St. Joseph, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Howardsville Christian Eagles (Marcellus, MI), 55-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Michigan Lutheran upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to River Valley (Three Oaks, MI) to play the Mustangs in a Berrien-Cass-St. Joseph - White bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-4. River Valley lost 84-58 in their recent league bout against Eau Claire (Eau Claire, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Kalamazoo HomeSchool Cougars (Kalamazoo, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Howardsville Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 88-71 non-league loss to Phoenix (Kalamazoo, MI).
