The Lamar Christian Lions basketball team (Purvis, MS), was toppled 47-38 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets (Amite, LA)
The Yellowjackets now possess a 6-1 record.
The Lions (14-7) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS). The Jaguars come into the MAIS 4A District 4 battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Wayne Academy beat Laurel Christian (Laurel, MS), 45-23, in a league battle.
