Illinois High School Basketball - Stevenson knocked off by Libertyville

The Libertyville Wildcats basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Stevenson Patriots to 53 in the Wildcats league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mundelein for a North Suburban contest on Wednesday, January 18. Libertyville will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 47-44 non-league win over Highland Park (Highland Park, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-9.

The Patriots (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Saint Viator ran past St. Patrick (Chicago, IL), 56-32, in a league contest.
