The Malta Mustangs topped the visiting Shelby Coyotes basketball team by a final score of 64-49 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Havre Blue Ponies (Havre, MT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 24. Malta will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record.
With the defeat, Shelby moves to 4-3 on the year. The Coyotes host Rocky Boy (Box Elder, MT) to face the Northern Stars in a B District 1 game on Friday, January 20. The Northern Stars enter the game with a record of 5-3.
