Maysville Wolverines (Maysville, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MO), 70-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Maysville upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Gallatin (Gallatin, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a Grand River bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 11-2. Gallatin lost 66-60 in their recent non-league bout against West Platte (Weston, MO)

Next up, the Tigers play the Putnam County Midgets (Unionville, MO) in a Grand River bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Midgets come into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 55-38 non-league loss to Kirksville HomeSchool (Kirksville, MO).
