Alabama High School Basketball - Russell County topples Pike Road

In Saturday's league outing, the Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) basketball squad beat the visiting Pike Road Patriots (Pike Road, AL), by a count of 55-38.

The Warriors (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL). The Thunderbirds go into the 6A Area 4 outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Park Crossing defeated Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL), 89-43, in a non-league outing.

The Patriots now hold a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Greenville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17.
