In Saturday's non-league outing, the South Bison (Cheyenne, WY) basketball squad edged the host Wheatland Bulldogs (Wheatland, WY), by a count of 48-45.
The Bison (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Central (Cheyenne, WY). The Indians go into the 4A Southeast outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Central held off Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO), 72-61, in a non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Torrington for a 3A Southeast outing on Friday, January 20. Wheatland will clash with a Trailblazers squad coming off a 52-37 non-league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, NE). The Trailblazers record now stands at 3-6.
