Iowa High School Basketball - St. Ansgar can't hold off West Fork

The West Fork Warhawks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting St. Ansgar Saints to 54 in the Warhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Warhawks now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood-Kensett for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. West Fork will battle a Vikings team coming off a 71-70 league loss to St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-9.
The Saints (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA). The Vikings enter the Corn Bowl contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Northwood-Kensett was nudged by Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA), 63-51, in a league contest.
