The Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) basketball knocked off the host San Pasqual Golden Eagles (Escondido, CA), 54-40 in Saturday's league test.
The Wolverines (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks go into the test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Del Norte went down by Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA), 63-52, in a non-league test.
The Golden Eagles now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ramona for a test on Saturday, January 14. San Pasqual will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-52 non-league win over La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-6.
