Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors (Corpus Christi, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Trinity Christian Knights (San Antonio, TX), 39-33 in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors face the First Baptist Academy Eagles (Universal City, TX) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 16. Annapolis Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 4-15 season record.

With the defeat, Trinity Christian moves to 1-4 on the year. The Knights host Gloria Deo Academy (Bulverde, TX) to face the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 24. The Lions enter the game with a record of 0-3. Gloria Deo Academy lost 31-25 in their recent non-league game against First Baptist Academy (Universal City, TX)
