Annawan Braves (Annawan, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL), 62-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Annawan upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Braves travel to Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL) to play the Flying Geese in a Lincoln Trail bout on Monday, January 23. The Flying Geese go into the bout with a record of 13-10.

Next up, the Cougars play the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes (Abingdon, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. ROWVA/Williamsfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL).
