In Saturday's league outing, the Benton Panthers (Benton, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Lake Hamilton Wolves (Pearcy, AR), by a count of 50-37.
The Panthers (13-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sheridan (Sheridan, AR). The Yellowjackets go into the 5A South outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Sheridan defeated White Hall (White Hall, AR), 69-28, in a league outing.
The Wolves now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they host El Dorado for a 5A South outing on Tuesday, January 17. Lake Hamilton will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 63-57 league loss to Lakeside (Hot Springs, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.
