The Cascade Christian Challengers (Medford, OR) basketball knocked off the host St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR), 44-30 in Saturday's league test.
The Challengers (7-7) will now prepare for their test against South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR). The Lancers go into the 3A Far West test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, South Umpqua went down by Douglas (Winston, OR), 36-26, in a league test.
The Crusaders now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Douglas for a 3A Far West test on Wednesday, January 18. St. Mary's will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 38-37 non-league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 6-6.
