Montana High School Basketball - Fort Benton knocked off by Chinook

The Chinook Beeters basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Fort Benton Longhorns to 35 in the Beeters league triumph on Saturday.
The Beeters now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Big Sandy for a C District 9 contest on Thursday, January 19. Chinook will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 62-51 league win over Chester-Joplin-Inverness (Chester, MT). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-4.
The Longhorns (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Turner (Turner, MT). The Tornadoes enter the C District 9 contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Turner was defeated by North Star (Rudyard, MT), 59-43, in a league contest.
