Nebraska High School Basketball - Clarkson/Leigh nips Pender

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE) and the host Pender Pendragons (Pender, NE), saw Clarkson/Leigh's basketball squad hold off Pender by a count of 45-43.

With the victory, Clarkson/Leigh advances its record to 11-3 on the season. The Patriots host Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE) to encounter the Eagles in a C2 District 6 test on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 3-10. Lutheran-Northeast lost 45-29 in their recent non-league test against Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE)

The Pendragons now own a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wynot for a non-league test on Monday, January 16.
