With the victory, Yavneh Academy upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Dallas Adventist Academy (Richardson, TX) to play the Sentinel in a TAPPS 3A District 2 challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Sentinel come into the challenge with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Lions play the Coram Deo Academy Lions (Plano, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 2 challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Dallas Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 48-27 league loss to Cornerstone Christian Academy (McKinney, TX).
