The Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA), 68-18 in Saturday's league test.
The Hornets (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 0-11 record. In their last test, Tallwood was trounced by Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA), 48-40, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host King's Fork for a Southeastern test on Tuesday, January 17. Oscar Smith will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-16 league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-5.
