Sutherlin Bulldogs (Sutherlin, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR), 44-8 in a league bout.

With the win, Sutherlin upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Westside Christian (Lake Oswego, OR) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-6. Westside Christian won 74-17 in their recent league bout against Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Harrisburg Eagles (Harrisburg, OR) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 16. Douglas will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 7-8 record after their 60-40 league win over Sisters (Sisters, OR).
