In Saturday's non-league outing, the Takini Skyhawks (Howes, SD) basketball squad edged the host Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD), by a margin of 47-46.
The Skyhawks (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD). The Chiefs go into the non-league outing with a 2-7 record.
The Indians now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis Indian for a non-league outing on Monday, January 16. Flandreau Indian will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 64-44 league loss to Todd County (Mission, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
