In Saturday's non-league outing, the More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) basketball squad beat the host Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD), by a margin of 54-34.
The Cavaliers (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Golddiggers go into the A Region 8 outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Lead-Deadwood was beaten by Wall (Wall, SD), 63-15, in a non-league outing.
The Fliers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Deuel for a A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Flandreau will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 47-33 league loss to Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-5.
