In Saturday's league outing, the West Muskingum Tornadoes (Zanesville, OH) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Morgan Raiders (McConnelsville, OH), by a count of 61-31.

The Tornadoes (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Liberty Union was crushed by Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH), 39-35, in a league outing.

The Raiders now hold a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a Muskingum Valley outing on Saturday, January 21. Morgan will clash with a Scotties squad coming off a 65-24 league win over Philo (Duncan Falls, OH). The Scotties record now stands at 13-3.
