Ohio High School Basketball - Utica tops Northridge

Utica Redskins (Utica, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Northridge Vikings (Johnstown, OH), 43-24 in a league bout.

With the victory, Utica upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Redskins host Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 10-5.

Next up, the Vikings play the Licking Valley Panthers (Newark, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 2-12 record after their 46-35 league loss to Zanesville (Zanesville, OH).
