North Carolina High School Basketball - Oak Forest nudges South Wake

January 14, 2023: Wake Forest, NC 27587

In Saturday's league bout, the Oak Forest Warriors (Wake Forest, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting South Wake Sabres (Fuquay-Varina, NC), by a count of 42-38.

With the victory, Oak Forest upgrades its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Sabres play the Ravenscroft Ravens (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. South Wake will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Ravens come into the bout with a 14-8 record after their 61-21 league win over St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC).
