Tuscarawas Valley Trojans (Zoarville, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ridgewood Generals (West Lafayette, OH), 46-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Tuscarawas Valley upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Trojans host Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH) to play the Pirates in a Inter-Valley bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Garaway won 48-29 in their recent league bout against Sandy Valley (Magnolia, OH)

Next up, the Generals play the Claymont Mustangs (Uhrichsville, OH) in a Inter-Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Ridgewood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 70-46 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, OH).
