Georgia High School Basketball - Westside routs Southwest

January 14, 2023: Macon, GA 31206

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), by a count of 55-30.

The Seminoles (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers go into the AAAA Region 2 outing with a 6-10 record.

The Patriots now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Academy for Classical Education for a AA Region 2 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Southwest will clash with a Gryphons squad coming off a 51-18 non-league win over Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 11-4.
