In Saturday's league challenge, the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK), by a margin of 8-1.
The Hawks now possess a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colony for a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 19. Houston will clash with a Knights team coming off a 3-2 league loss to West Valley (Fairbanks, AK). The Knights record now stands at 9-6.
The Rams (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Patriots enter the Aurora challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, North Pole tipped West Valley (Fairbanks, AK), 4-2, in a non-league challenge.
