In Saturday's league challenge, the Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) ice hockey team the visiting Millbrook School Mustangs (Millbrook, NY), by a margin of 5-2.

The Griffins now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Worcester Academy for a challenge on Wednesday, January 18. Pomfret School will clash with a Hilltoppers team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Kents Hill School (Kents Hill, ME). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-8.

The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Frederick Gunn (Washington, CT). The Highlanders come into the battle with a 12-3 record. In their last battle, Frederick Gunn nipped Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY), 5-3, in a league battle.
